Protégé is designed to build the next generation of Black male educators by reaching promising students early while they’re still in high school to inspire and mentor them through weekly after-school activities.

The carefully-constructed program we’re developing with our curriculum partner, Educators Rising, calls for a minimum of 35 meetings led by a highly-effective Black male educator that will be a mix of guest lectures, leadership workshops, shadow opportunities, student-teaching, community service and field trips.
